Age Verification

Age verification is an important tool in livestock traceability, business management and increasing market opportunities. For example, there are new branded beef programs being created that require age verified cattle. So, it can be beneficial to verify your cattle and have the option to access these new opportunities. Red Deer County is a third party verifying agent for the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency age verification program. There is no cost to producers to have their cattle age verified by Red Deer County.
