Assessment Inspection Notice

Notice is hereby given as per section 294 of the Municipal Government Act that Red Deer County Assessment is conducting its annual inspection of properties for the 2013 tax year.

In accordance with Provincial regulations, all properties within Red Deer County are reviewed on a five-year cycle to ensure that assessment information remains current. Red Deer County Assessment strives to value property as fairly as possible in relation to similar property and in accordance with Provincial regulations and guidelines. By doing so, our goal is to distribute the annual property tax burden fairly amongst accurately assessed properties. County Assessors and contract Assessors from Accurate Assessment Group Ltd. will be working throughout Red Deer County reviewing property assessments through to January 2013. Assessors will have photo identification, identifying them as employees and contract employees of Red Deer County.
