County Enforcement/RCMP

patrol_group_shot_2010

County Enforcement Officers are mandated, through their appointment as Bylaw Officers and Community Peace Officers, to enforce County Bylaws and selected Provincial statutes.

Enforcement priorities are the protection of the County road infrastructure, safe movement of traffic throughout the County, and assisting the County Development department in the enforcement of the Land Use Bylaw.

Go to our video page and see a profile on County enforcement.

Our County Enforcement has an excellent working relationship with the five RCMP Detachments who police Red Deer County - Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Innisfail, Olds, and Three Hills. Much consultation has occurred at the Administrative level as well, to ensure that all areas of the County are receiving the same levels of service.
