ASSESSMENT INSPECTION NOTICE
Notice is hereby given as per section 294 of the Municipal Government Act that Red Deer County’s Assessment Services will be conducting annual inspections of properties for the 2024 tax year.
All properties within Red Deer County are reviewed on a five-year re-inspection cycle to ensure that assessment information remains current. In addition, property inspections may be conducted by Red Deer County Assessors at any time due to circumstances such as development, reported changes to the property, and/or a sale of the property to ensure that the assessment information remains current and as accurate as possible. Assessment Services strives to value property as fairly as possible in relation to similar properties, and in accordance with Provincial Legislation, Regulations and guidelines. Inspections will be taking place during our regular office hours of Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Assessors will have identification and they will be driving a Red Deer County marked vehicle, identifying them as employees of Red Deer County.
