SPRINGBROOK RESIDENTS: Springbrook residents will experience traffic disruptions starting on Saturday, September 30, as there will be paving in Redwood Boulevard and Airport Drive. Detours will remain in effect until Friday, October 6 (weather dependent).

Join us Thursday, March 23 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Red Deer County Centre to learn about how to use our online GIS mapping tool. The mapping tool can be used to advise on property zoning, if your land can have animals on it, and other information such as assessment values.

NOTICE - STORM POND CONSTRUCTION

Please be advised that beginning February 6 (weather dependent), Howitt Construction will begin construction of the Springbrook South Storm Ponds. The work will involve night construction. In order to mitigate the potential nuisance on neighbouring residential properties, the contractor will disable backup alarms; and strategically place light towers away from residences.

    Night shift is from 7 PM – 6 AM;

    3-4 weeks duration.

At Council on November 29, 2022, Red Deer County Council tabled the 2023 -2025 Operating budget and the 2023-2027 Capital Plan in search for public input. Members of the public have two weeks to provide feedback - the DRAFT budget report can be found online at www.rdcounty.ca/budget Once comments are received, the budget will return to Council on December 13, 2022
