The Red Deer County Fee Assistance Program offers financial support for individuals who are currently facing financial barriers to accessing recreation and culture opportunities. The program provides up to $300.00 per individual per year to put towards the costs of eligible registration fees.
The program is available to any resident of Red Deer County who meets the criteria below.
Funds granted through this program will be paid by cheque directly to the service provider. Funds will not be paid to the applicant.
*Hamlets located in Red Deer County include Ardley, Benalto, Dickson, Lousana, Markerville, Springbrook, and Spruce View & Gasoline Alley.

Eligibility for Fee Assistance Program is based on need as demonstrated by either the applicant’s financial information or by a referral from an eligible community professional, not related to the applicant.
Please complete the following information based on your most recent income tax return(s) or paystubs. You will need to attach photocopies of your most recent Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment, or the 2 most recent paystubs for each adult in the household, and/or confirmation of receipt of eligible income support.
As cost of living continues to rise, eligibility for this funding is based on a cut-off of 200% of the Canada LICO Scale.

Please attach a letter from a community professional indicating your need to access the Red Deer Fee Assistance Program. Eligible references include, but are not limited to, teachers, counsellors, youth workers, social workers, and coaches.
Please provide the name and contact details of the reference below. Please attach a letter, from the reference, indicating the need for the participant to access this funding.
Cheques are made payable directly to the organization. Please ensure this is the correct payee to whom the cheque would be made payable.
